Introduction: Sexual instinct, like other aspects of human existence, is in need of education, in the meantime, parents knowledge and attitudes, especially mothers, has the most important role in the education of children in pre-school healthy sexual behavior. One of the ways to raise knowledge and change mother's attitude in this field is education. For this purpose this study with the aim to evaluate the effect of education package on knowledge and attitude mothers of preschool towards sexual education, was carried out.&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Material and Methods: This quasi-experimental study was conducted on 78 mothers of preschool children referred to two health centers dependent on Iran University of Medical Sciences in Tehran city. Each health centers randomly were assigned to one of two experimental and control groups. Sampling at each center was randomly with proportional allocation based on the Children age. The experimental Group participate for 4 weeks in 4 sessions spaced one week, for 90 minutes. The scale used self-administered questionnaires, contain three sections: demographic characteristics, knowledge and attitudes towards preschool sex education. To determine the validity was used from fase and content validity in the form of qualitative and quantitative. To assess reliability of the questionnaire were used Cronbach's alpha (internal consistency) and test-retest, the questionnaire was completed before, immediately and 8 weeks after the last training session by the mothers in both groups. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 23 and independent t-test and analysis of variance with repeated measures. P less than 0/05 was considered as significant level.&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
