Intervention 1: Educational intervention in intervention group: An educational course in 3 sessions in a one week to ten days period, as a part of practical community oral health course is designed for the intervention group. The first session includes two 45 minutes lectures by two university teachers about geriatric dentistry. A booklet containing educational material will be given to the intervention group. In the second session the students of intervention group will go for a geriatric field to conduct the clinical examination, learn how to communicate properly, take medical and dental history and investigate the treatment needs. In the last session students will present and discuss their findings in the field. Both intervention and control groups will fill a questionnaire regarding geriatric oral health before and after intervention. Intervention time: 2014-2015 educational years. Outcome: change in knowledge, attitude, practice. Intervention 2: No intervention is designed for the control group. All the last year dental students of Shaheed Beheshti University of Medical Sciences as the control group will fill the designed questionnaire at the base line and one week after that.
