Intervention 1: Intervention group: Home visit program included familiarity with the differences between term and preterm infants, how to take care of a preterm infant, how to take care of umbilical cord, advantages of breastfeeding, how to hold the infant, and infant’s nutrition, and training about how to bath the infants and take care of them before and after bathing. Intervention 2: Control group: No predefined program was executed in this group. They received the routine care and each mothers' questions were answered.
